We created MissionSpark after years of working alongside nonprofits, ministries, schools, and mission-driven organizations navigating the real challenges that often come with growth. Many leaders are carrying significant responsibility while trying to serve people well, strengthen their organizations, sustain funding, support teams, and plan for the future — often all at the same time.

We understand how heavy that responsibility can feel.

Too often, organizations are expected to grow without the structures, systems, clarity, or support needed to sustain healthy long-term impact. Vision alone is not enough. Terry Black

Terry is a nonprofit strategist, fundraising professional, and organizational advisor with more than two decades of experience serving mission-driven organizations throughout the region.

Known for her relational leadership style, and ability to bring clarity to complex organizational challenges, Terry helps leaders strengthen vision, improve sustainability, and build healthier foundations for growth.

Her experience includes nonprofit leadership, fundraising strategy, organizational development, grant and donor engagement, leadership support, and long-term sustainability planning.

She believes healthy growth begins with wise stewardship, thoughtful leadership, and a clear understanding of mission.

Dr. Nigel C. Black, Ph.D

Dr. Nigel Black is a leader, strategist, systems-minded thinker and expert at helping organizations build healthy structures that support long-term growth and sustainability.

Known for his thoughtful leadership, and ability to create practical systems tailored to the unique needs of organizations, Dr. Black brings clarity, structure, and strategic insight to MissionSpark’s work. His approach combines leadership development, organizational systems thinking, and a deep commitment to helping mission-driven leaders build wisely and sustainably.
